What We Do

Coating Removal
& Laser Cleaning

ACT Industrial Solutions LLC specializes in mobile laser ablation for coating removal and surface preparation — delivered on-site with zero abrasive media and zero secondary waste.

01 — Rust & Corrosion
Rust & Oxide Removal

Non-contact ablation strips rust, mill scale, and metal oxides from steel and iron — delivered on-site without damaging the base material.

02 — Weld Prep
Pre-Weld Surface Prep

Contamination-free weld zones in seconds. Our mobile units provide laser prep on-location — consistently outperforming grinding and sandblasting.

03 — Tooling
Mold & Tool Cleaning

Clean injection molds, dies, and precision tooling in-situ — no disassembly, no abrasive media, no facility downtime.

04 — Degreasing
Oil & Contaminant Removal

Eliminate oils, carbon deposits, and industrial residues from complex geometries — on-site, without chemicals or solvents.

05 — Structural
Structural Steel & Infrastructure

Mobile laser cleaning for bridges, structural steel, building facades, and large-format infrastructure — no containment system typically required.

06 — Welding
Welding & Metal Fabrication

When a component is beyond cleaning, ACT Industrial Solutions LLC can fabricate or repair a replacement to spec — MIG, TIG, and stick welding for industrial and field applications.

Why Laser Cleaning

The Smarter
Way to Clean.

Laser cleaning uses a focused fiber laser to remove surface contaminants with low noise, no chemicals, no abrasive media, and no compressors — producing a clean, near paint-ready surface while preserving the underlying material.

Fully mobile / on-site
Alternative to Sandblasting

Laser cleaning removes rust, coatings, and contaminants without abrasive media, excessive dust, or substrate damage. The process operates with significantly less noise, generates minimal waste, and typically does not require an airtight containment system — reducing downtime and cleanup.

Safety Focused

All work is performed in compliance with OSHA standards and ANSI Z136.1-2022 laser safety requirements. Operations are conducted under the supervision of certified Laser Safety Officers (LSOs) and managed by board-certified safety professionals, Certified Industrial Hygienists (CIH), and Registered Environmental Engineers. High-level PPE and site-specific engineering controls are implemented on every project.

Environmentally Responsible

Emissions and airborne contaminants are controlled through advanced engineering controls and industrial hygiene practices approved by Registered Environmental Engineers. Our work methods are designed to meet applicable EPA requirements while minimizing secondary waste, chemical exposure, and environmental impact.

Beyond Cleaning

Welding & Metal
Fabrication.

If it can’t be
cleaned, we’ll build
you a new one.

ACT Industrial Solutions LLC pairs precision laser cleaning with professional welding and metal fabrication services. When a component is too far gone for cleaning, corroded beyond recovery, structurally compromised, or simply worn out, our team can fabricate a replacement to spec. One contractor, start to finish.

Our fabrication capabilities support the same industrial clients we serve with laser cleaning: manufacturing, infrastructure, heavy equipment, and field applications throughout the region.

One call covers it all. Whether the job calls for laser cleaning, metal fabrication, or both, ACT Industrial Solutions LLC has you covered without bringing in a second contractor.
Discuss Your Project
Industrial Welding

MIG, TIG, and stick welding for equipment repair, industrial fabrication, and heavy-duty applications to ASME and AWS standards.

Custom Metal Fabrication

Custom parts, brackets, frames, and assemblies fabricated to your drawings or reverse-engineered from existing components.

Equipment Repair & Rebuild

Repair and rebuild worn or damaged industrial components — faster and more cost-effective than full replacement.

Surface Prep to Paint-Ready

Laser clean before welding, or laser clean the finished fabrication to a near paint-ready surface — all in one mobilization.

Field Welding

Mobile welding capabilities for on-site repairs and fabrication — no need to transport heavy equipment off-site.

Material Sourcing

We source steel, aluminum, and specialty metals for your project — saving you the coordination of a separate supplier.

Common Questions

Got
Questions?

We're happy to walk you through the process and help determine if laser cleaning is the right fit. ACT Industrial Solutions LLC also offers on-site demonstrations upon request.

ACT Industrial Solutions LLC removes a wide range of coatings including paint, lead-based paint (LBP), epoxy, powder coating, zinc-rich primers, industrial topcoats, and multi-layer coating systems. We assess your specific substrate and coating type before every project to ensure the right approach.
ACT Industrial Solutions LLC is fully mobile — we come to you. Our laser systems are transported directly to your facility, job site, or field location. Our setup is fully contained and self-powered, requiring no external power supply or facility infrastructure. No facility modifications, no shipping parts, no disassembly of your equipment required.
In most applications, laser cleaning does not require an airtight containment system as is commonly needed with abrasive blasting. Emissions are managed through HEPA-filtered vacuum systems that capture contaminants at the source, significantly reducing setup time, cleanup, and project costs.
Laser cleaning operates at significantly lower noise levels than traditional sandblasting or abrasive blasting operations. This makes it suitable for noise-sensitive environments, occupied facilities, and projects where minimizing disruption to surrounding operations is a priority.
Yes. ACT Industrial Solutions LLC is equipped to handle lead-based paint (LBP) removal. Our team includes Certified Industrial Hygienists (CIH) and Registered Environmental Engineers who oversee compliance with applicable OSHA and EPA requirements for hazardous coating removal. HEPA-filtered capture systems are used to control emissions at the source.
Absolutely. ACT Industrial Solutions LLC is happy to provide on-site demonstrations so you can evaluate the process and results firsthand on your substrate and coating type. Contact us to schedule a visit.
Who We Are

ACT Industrial Solutions LLC

ACT Industrial Solutions LLC is a specialty company providing mobile laser ablation services for the removal of rust, oxidation, paint, lead-based paint (LBP), industrial coatings, and surface contaminants from commercial and industrial substrates. The company was formed following an extensive technical evaluation of laser ablation technology as a safer, cleaner, and more precise alternative to traditional abrasive blasting and chemical coating removal methods.

Our team includes Certified Safety Professionals (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienists (CIH), Registered Professional Environmental Engineers (PE), and certified Laser Safety Officers (LSOs) with more than 30 years of experience overseeing industrial coating removal, hazardous material remediation, and environmental compliance projects. ACT Industrial Solutions LLC operates with all required licenses, certifications, and insurance.

Michael Martin is the President of ACT Industrial Solutions LLC. Mr. Martin has practiced EHS consulting for more than 10 years and is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP). He formerly served as an Industrial Hygiene Consultant for the Arizona Division of Occupational Safety and Health (ADOSH).

We recognize the hazards associated with Class 4 laser systems and operate under comprehensive laser safety protocols in compliance with ANSI Z136.1-2022 standards. Our processes are engineered to safely remove coatings while generating near-zero airborne emissions and eliminating the need for abrasive blast media, chemical strippers, and high-noise air compressors commonly associated with traditional sandblasting operations.

Laser ablation is a controlled, localized process that can incorporate HEPA-filtered vacuum systems to capture emissions at the source and meet applicable OSHA and EPA worker protection and environmental control requirements.

Using fully mobile laser systems, ACT Industrial Solutions LLC supports industrial facilities, structural steel, manufacturing operations, pipelines, and other demanding field applications throughout the region.
